A third-generation Kenyan, Rupi has been writing about East Africa's wild places since 1998 - to inspire travellers to explore the continent and treat it with care. She has been on safari more times than she can count: scaling mountains, diving oceans, crossing savannahs.
Since 1991 she has volunteered with the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya, and - thirty years on - still edits Komba, getting schoolchildren excited about conservation. Her ties with working conservationists give every Moonlion safari an insider's view of the often challenging world of wildlife.
